中心業務:
一、整合本校與國內外之教學與研究資源，從事佛教領域之學術研究與活動，及培育現代佛學專業研究人才。
二、增進本校與國際和兩岸佛教相關學術機構之學術交流與合作，以提升國際能見度。
三、從事當代人間佛教的學理研究與實用推廣，建立佛教學界與教界的合作平台。
四、推展佛教資源在身心靈健康方面的理論研發與實務應用，提升佛教對社會人群的貢獻。
五、接受政府單位與民間機構的委託研究計畫，並提供有關佛教之政策問題諮詢與社會服務。
Center Missions :
1.To integrate the teaching and research resources of the university and abroad, engaging in academic research and activities in the field of Buddhism, and cultivate modern research talents in Buddhist studies.
2. To enhance the academic exchanging and cooperation between the university and international and cross-Strait Buddhist-related academic institutions to enhance international visibility.
3. To engage in the academic research and practical promotion of contemporary Humanistic Buddhism, and establish a platform for cooperation between Buddhist scholars and the teaching circles.
4. To promote the theoretical research and development and practical application of Buddhist resources in the body and mind health, and enhance the contribution of Buddhism to the social population.
5. To accept commissioned research projects by government agencies and private institutions, and providing consultation and social services on policy issues related to Buddhism.
